Starting as a popup in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, Lucky Danger reimagined what American Chinese takeout could be. In 2021, it moved to a permanent takeout location in Arlington, VA. In June 2025, Lucky Danger opened its flagship, full-service version in Washington, DC Penn Quarter/Chinatown area.
